Xenomorph Eggs!

I have a tiny Xenomorph egg from anĀ Alien toy, so I thought I’d practice mold making with it. Look how they’ve multiplied!

Lion Mold

I succeeded in making a latex mold and a polyurethane cast of a belt buckle.

This stuff is really cool: this binary compound becomes opaque and solid within minutes. Just look at it go from translucent …3
…to opaque. This would probably be more impressive in the form of a video.

Polyurethane Resin Buffalo Head

I finally got around to making a silicone mold of a toy buffalo head, from which I cast a quick drying poly-urethane resin. The buffalo head itself came out pretty well, but I had a tiny mounting that did not come out well at all. It looks like a ravaged block of cheese.
